daamn.net Information about Hatton, Aberdeenshire
Hatton (occasionally Hatton of Cruden) is a village in Aberdeenshire, Scotland[1] that lies on the A90 road, approximately equidistant from both Ellon and Peterhead. It has a biscuit factory that was once called Simmers - it was Hatton's only claim to fame as it supplied biscuits to such upmarket shops as Marks and Spencers. However, it was purchased by McVities and then acquired by Murdoch Allan and Sons. There is considerable evidence of early human habitation in the vicinity, most notably by the existence of the ancient Catto Long Barrow and numerous tumuli nearby.[2] Boddam Â· Crimond Â· Cruden Bay Â· Fetterangus Â· Hatton Â· Longside Â· Maud Â· Mintlaw Â· New Deer Â· New Pitsligo Â· Peterhead Â· St. Combs Â· St. Fergus Â· Strichen Â· Stuartfield Auchnagatt Â· Buchanhaven Â· Clola Â· Inverugie Â· Lonmay Â· Old Deer Â· Whinnyfold Aden Country Park/Aberdeenshire Farming Museum Â· Bullers of Buchan Â· Crimonmogate Â· Deer Abbey Â· Formartine and Buchan Way Â· Loch of Strathbeg Â· Maritime Heritage Museum Â· Rattray Â· Rattray Head Â· Slains Castle Aberchirder Â· Banff and Macduff Â· Fraserburgh Â· Gardenstown Â· Inverallochy and Cairnbulg Â· Portsoy Â· Rosehearty Â· Sandhaven Â· Whitehills Boddam Â· Crimond Â· Cruden Bay Â· Fetterangus Â· Hatton Â· Longside Â· Maud Â· Mintlaw Â· New Deer Â· New Pitsligo Â· Peterhead Â· St. Combs Â· St. Fergus Â· Strichen Â· Stuartfield Balmedie Â· Cuminestown Â· Ellon Â· Fyvie Â· Newburgh Â· Oldmeldrum Â· Pitmedden Â· Potterton Â· Rothienorman Â· Tarves Â· Turriff Blackburn Â· Insch Â· Inverurie Â· Kemnay Â· Kintore Â· Newmachar Â· Westhill Drumoak Â· Fettercairn Â· Gourdoun Â· Inverbervie Â· Johnshaven Â· Laurencekirk Â· Newtonhill Â· Portlethen Â· St. Cyrus Â· Stonehaven Aboyne Â· Alford Â· Ballater Â· Banchory Â· Braemar Â· Huntly Â· Lumphanan Â· Tarland Â· Torphins Coordinates: 57°25′32″N 1°54′56″W / 57.42556°N 1.91556°W / 57.42556; -1.91556
